lovely daffodil
leading  springtime flower parade
mystical march dance

marigold magic
her dainty crisp scalloped edge
tinged with burgundy

happy warm day wind
she gently moves through my hair
ruffling my grasses

a rainbow catfish
jumps clean out of the water
showing her fierceness

approach a green light
           reflection greeting my car
                  slivers of brightness

in awe we polka
our milkweed pod sonata
dazzling the pond

hollands masterpiece
a field of pink tulips
pella iowa

snow falls from above
kid looks up, searches for God
alluring nature

cool backlit clouds
moving rapidly in gray
share winters secrets

if owls were as wise
as our wyandotte indians
how would we approach

cars sound the alarm
autumn delivers it's storm
night time is shattered

window faces watch
our world of broken branches
wheelie-bins gone rogue

when tomorrow comes
boys will collect their conkers
grown men their shovels 

caverns of delight
glistening and inviting
soon welcoming stars

Long bushy tail, eats

bamboos and bugs, a loner,

sleeps days, up at night

out of untied shoe

A young girl weeping
                  salty tears staining her face
                    young man not coming

the capricious mind
     a universal challenge
              gemini baby

Angels and faeries
protecting and loving us
while we all slumber

mermaids secret stash
her iridescent buttons
mother of pearl

apples in autumn
reminds me of cinnamon
i can taste her pie

Fireplace rhythm
dazzling imagination
uplifting my soul

lavishly orange
embroidered meadows
gods prettiest work

blazing sunflowers
blooms reduced to black ashes
earth cries silently
