Purple butterfly
Bush grows weary with its load
Covered with gold wings

spring rain overnight
dragging winter's chill...  
the butterfly

 wings flutter

across my left cheek

a tickling smile 

caterpillar dreams
of wings and sweet nectar -
while munching tough leaves

Dew drenched petals.
Butterfly tears fall softly.
Nectar from the gods.

As the butterfly
Hovers near a peach blossom
Its shadow follows

To see a butterfly.
to view a morning sky.
Have the love of a gentle woman,
before I die.

Rain breaks softly

I tried to enter my first poem today.

Sadly, it flew  away, like a butterfly.

Please don't look at me
for I am not what you see
my wings are still wet

sunset explosions
wandering butterfly swarms
windblown rose petals

bird populations
animals of many kinds
autumn leaves swirling

prestorm dark gray clouds
the world assortment of fruits
bouyant rainbow skies

mourning cloak passing
       wing beats of a butterfly
          the softest of drums

butterflies ferment
  like aesthetic Autumn leaves
— sanguine sage’s brush

late summer morning
