through bright starry eyes
secluded heart still searches

dance upon my memories
soothing scents of you

Luminescent lights
bouncing through the nighttime air;
fireflies, in my yard.

 Dragonfly, shiny
Windup toy, in flight, you dance
Among the cattails.

lark's song

as green leaves dance with the breeze . . .

the 'Hi-Ku(5)' Poetry Contest

whispering leaves sway
crickets' chorus fills the night~
nature's lullaby

sun kisses meadows
nature's symphony soars high~
summer's dance unfolds

snowflakes dance mid air
jealous sun melts chalk blanket
snowmen lose their heads

whirling rose petals
as they move to dream music
sunflower acclaim

dips in dahlias
orange yellow cream and red
spins past snapdragons 

four o'clock fragrance
and flourishes near fuchsias
forget-me-not fame

I still remember 
       slide down a polished railings 
       Autumn holidays


       Sleeping until noon 
       Dance happily in the wind 
       No homework this week

raindrops tap dancing
to a falling melody
thunderous applause

enamored couple
demonstrating crazy love

Trees dressed all in pink
In attendance at spring's ball
cherry blossoms dance

a leaf fell today
twirling as if the last dance
final disconnect

one ballerina
tiptoe-twirls with two pink shoes
three sweet pirouettes

Turning the key of a music box - one...two...three.
