A bird song heralds

a halcyon morn, espies--

wiles of a keen hawk.

                                       the hawk drifts slowly
                                        implacable savagery -
                                          lost a few feather

high up in the sky
     scouring the field for its food
the red hawk circles

Circa vista under seen

life and spirit flow..

sublime outline forms


little hill folds down..

cross the valley bleating sheep

combs coombe the eyrie hawk..!

dance in a meadow
lovers whole in each other
no need for music

sun warm on our backs
creek singing in the background
hawk cries in the sky

warm lips sing the song
laughter lights a glow in eyes
sweet love sweet forever love

scathing panther 
amidst the lime brush
onyx he stands

black shade betrays
soft stunning silence 
yellow eyes stare

eyes yellow jewels
a secret hunter
hungry to feasts
 
alert purring deep 
as he watches red tail hawk
before chaos

goldfinch dazzles 
  in winter sun -
  hawk watches

a red-tailed hawk

                                            swoops down to snatch its prey --

                                                          a tiny dog barks.

hawk catches breeze soars
on a cold clear winter day...
seeks day's last fresh meal

To the ground a dive

Hawk, Squirrel struggle soar down

Sky ground merge…. end there

Hawk high on thermals

someone spoke in the silence ~

or a voles death-squeak.

ashes released~
Red tail Hawk Hovers
as loving Hands drop blooms.

Red Tail Hawk Perching
Mice Below scurry about
She'll be eating well

With two wide spread wings
A hawk is on a long fleet
Destined to attack

Switch blades of blue sky
Swift demise on red wings fly….
Where does the hawk cry?

The cloud blinks yellow
ripples of waves dance on sea
the cool breeze lingers...


hawk shines at its blaze...
branches of trees move slowly
along the sea coast.

 red shoulder hawk flies
looks for a meal in winter....
western part of town   

terrified chicks 
in the brush -
a hovering hawk

hawk 
circling above
        rabbits
hopping in wet
grass      sun is
warm and
bright

Cacophonous crow
Raucously robbing robins
Pandemonium

Salivating snail
Predator of petunias
Duck delicacy

Sweet Spring surprises
Doe dining delicately
Nature nourishes

Hungry hawk hovers
Quiet quail quakes and quivers
Corn cover conceals

Hovering on high
Ere the hawk swoops swiftly down
Sharp talons ready

hawk in flight
graceful angular wings spread...
death awaits field rat  

a lone hawk flies high
