evergreen scents fill our homes...

     lights flicker with joy

paced myself
feet are up

In the shifting air
the sweet scent of candy corn
candle wax burning

All doors are open
an ancient mystery lives
I bask in its glow

Easter bunny race
Fell as he could not keep pace
Muddy bunny face

Do the Easter Hop
Basket filled with  Sweet Joy
Candy and A Toy

Corned bread stuffed turkey

                               Party need to go home stuffed

Large white flakes falling
Rooftop sounds muffled by snow
An unsleeping child

Last Minute Halloween Costume
Toilet paper wraps;
Costs less to dress as mummy,
Mom thinks it’s funny!

Holly greens year round
Remind us of Christmas cheer
Even in summer.
