one-legged pigeon
pecks at crumbs
of crumbs

Pigeon, plump and gray
Singing his song but off key
Perched on the park bench

Erstrahlend im Licht
Das zarte Grün der Akazie
Und der Ruf der Taube




Shining in the light
The tender green of the acacia
And the call of the pigeon




Brilliando en la luz 
El delicado verde de la acacia 
Y el grito de la Paloma

Nothing exists until 

                                                 photograph taken 

                                                 like pigeon on lawn

The pigeon flies, through
Vast cobalt skies, surveying
The guise of beauty.

   buxom burgundy berries

( I have a red guava tree which the wood pigeons love, eating 30 berries in one go - just swallow after swallow. Usually leave all fruit for them.)
