something grabs my leg

                          plastic bag churned by the tide

                                 ocean clings for life

ice caps melting
sea levels rising ~
global warning

plastic pollution
killing marine life ~
sea sobs salty tears

deforestation
wildlife now homeless ~
mankind to blame

* Super Typhoon Mangkhut, the strongest storm of the year, unleashed  gusts up
to 200 mph while hurricane Florence brought 40 inches of rain. CNN.

We need to control
Environment pollution
By hook or by crook

I sit on my chair and travel the world
I turn off my TV 
And cry

There are solutions
To save earth from pollution
New resolutions

steel carriage belches
carbon cloud into the air
too early frog croaks

Black smoke covers all
children animals run
but they can't escape

Self-destructive Man
Violates Nature's prime law:
Don't **** where you eat!

Stinky-Butt crawls
like a snail and leaves a trail.
My baby brother.

Pollution due to
Industrialization
Must be stopped at once.

white faced mimes protest...
falling leaves noise pollution
fierce finger pointing

when plastic breaks down
birds die with their belly full
some things can’t digest

all colors and shapes

plastic floats in a harbor

necklaces for gulls

Nature never sleeps
too many changes needed
too much pollution

sky above empty
holding breath no air to breathe
canary is dead

life’s precious fabric 
unravelling strand by strand
Earth weeps

                                            Grimy sweaty dusk, 
                                             L.A. hazy horizon.
                                            Steaming torrid lune.

Cosmo's watchful eye

Observes every crime of Man

*Yesterday,was the World Day of the Environment and the Secretary General of the United Nations declared that till 2050 the Oceans will have more plastic than fish!

First Green
Then Orange 
Then Red Orange 
Day by day we grow with Nature

Her House was ablaze,
Smoke filled each room she
Was barely alive,

Congested and faint,
A withered rose suffocates,
She fell to her knees,

Voice heard loud and clear,
Severed through the pollution,
Arise, your set free!

the sky is dark gray  
the streams are littered with waste -  
you call that progress?

No good food, water,
Fresh environment, feelings
But weapons all kinds.

The high cost of air
If you breathe not its freshness

Poor die Wealthy thrive
Advanced technology shines
Voices not heard

Wars fought for water
Depression waste pollution
Evil money reins

Lovers and friendship
Together the poor survive
Robots in their way

Futuristic Failure
We should learn from our past loss
We proceed eyes closed?

Smokestacks are blowing.
Polluting the air we  breathe
Perfect air. Wasted.

burnt fossil fuel
taint of dark fumes fill the sky
earth shield breaking up
