winter’s last gasp
bone chilling loneliness ....
warm scent of your coat

2nd lover

reaching across miles
sending balmy loving thoughts
returning with spring
distance of  no consequence
cold weather unimportant

lost in deep snow drifts
inside we are safe and warm
dancing by firelight

the stars are twinkling
outside the snow still falling
music softly plays

what concord we see
in the earth and the ocean,
sleeping in embrace 

When the lady walks
Men make full use of the eyes,
And women the spleens.

Anniversary
The day I wed my soul-mate
It was a good day

Together we sway
to the rhythm. Coconuts
squash the romance quick.

Garden plump and ripe
My needs have been provided-
Content and happy

kissing golden sands         
in endless admiration
accursed by the moon

a sweet surrender
caught in stoic web of time
joy reigns eternal

waves hug sand
sweetly serenades

Paris gave us much
from romance to this plaster
white Eiffel Tower

She walks like the Sun,
Glowing, scorching the pavement;
Don't look, you'll go blind.

Thunder rolls
from cloud to cloud;
Cricket waltz.

LOOK INTO.
FALL DEEPLY.
MY EYES,
NEVER LIES !
