Illuminating
The dark space between the stars
The Silver Moon sails

What all lovers look out for on this romantic star studded night

AUTUMNAL WHIMSY

a late blooming few
rose leaves with mottled silver
autumnal whimsy

Monitoring self,
nature made her decisions:
disaster rained down…

The water rose—
Life sank beneath the level;
hope floated above…

Like Noah, we wait…
flooding water standing still—
Vultures roost on wires.

The rose greets the dawn
softly the breeze reassures...
Dewy tears consoled

sharing facts in orange mist
espionage days

for the good of all
like roses in the green hall
make the hours brighter

joy and liberty
underneath the singing birds
misty dreams of morn

whirling rose petals
as they move to dream music
sunflower acclaim

dips in dahlias
orange yellow cream and red
spins past snapdragons 

four o'clock fragrance
and flourishes near fuchsias
forget-me-not fame

The shining sun rose
Freedom's spirit opened wings
It flew from heart's core

Blushes in all her beauty
Velvet skin exposed

A lone rose on the snow 
petals crushed and trod upon. 
In her room, she weeps.

Lone daffodil sways

Defying April's last gust

Rose bud winks with glee .

The prickly green shrubs,
Unfold their crimson petals;
Kissed by morning mist.

reddest rose hips sway
full in pink spring breeze -
bumble bees swarm

a peach rose unfurls

suddenly so green
and baby jays are singing
blindsided by spring

rise up at pink dawn
the early bird is crowing
miles before moonlight

sweet kindergarten
where minds begin to wander
here there everywhere

sunset explosions
wandering butterfly swarms
windblown rose petals

bird populations
animals of many kinds
autumn leaves swirling

prestorm dark gray clouds
the world assortment of fruits
bouyant rainbow skies

hummingbirds air float
helicopters learned hover
wee wings rose mans perch
