shifting
signs that fog the mind

a weather phenomenon
rotates
columns of wind draft

Centrifugal force
Would spin us away from Earth
But for gravity

Social media
Endless lists of so-called friends
Who have never met

heart beats faster to
random noises in the dark - 
I can't reach the light

buzzing day and night 

tell scary tales at night

my blood relatives

distance from light switch
to top of dark basement stairs -
measured in neck hairs

Bird echoes, calls rain
          Thunder strikes, quenched as a fire
                    ashes mold mushrooms

Darkness closes in
My heart is beating swiftly
The world is silent

Black rain and thunder,
graveyard tombstone shifts-
Stumbling through the streets

I think it is called
suffering when you cannot 
write the pain away.

fear grips one unconsciously

heart begins to pound wildly

scary visions start to appear

This actually took place in a well known supermarket chain when I do grocery 
shopping. It was pretty scary!

gifts of love seen everywhere
lonely heart sulking


a heart beating fast
wishing for a valentine
tears line lonely eyes


This day of love
Gave me scary wounds
I just ask you, why me?

Erie ghosts and ghouls,
Terrifying everyone…
On Halloween night!

Sight through spread fingers
Go not in that creepy room
Popcorn and coke rain
