Crystal clear, peaceful waters;
Palm trees casting shade.

God creates for all to see

Very hot season
Vacation time for children 
Time to take a swim

I was alone and quite
Retrospect while in solace
Now come back mighty

Anyone searched sparks
Through out and within themselves 
Gratefulness abide

Realization came
People around radiates same
Things changed as I am.

feet in the water
the feeling is so sublime
i go in further

Up, up high into the sky
Warm winds blowing through misty clouds
Wandering, serene

Finally sixteen!
Can't wait until the summer,
London fun begins!

Marigolds and bees
Sticky watermelon juice
Running down my chin

Big island beckons
Sun and surf are paradise;
Hawaii calling.

highway harmony
no destination in mind
just driving for calm

into culture walk
we, amidst her history
smiling faces grin

relaxation helps
a vacation would not hurt
county fair and food

love the island life
treasuring the brief feeling
serene sensation....

troop of monkeys
hit the tourist beach
chaos

fishing together on lake
enjoying the day

oceanfront and high
one with the migrating birds
never again low....

one with the ocean
the ocean is one with me
delightful indeed

salt water face slap
the best wake up call ever
feeling mighty good!

shrieks
white faced monkey
enters the ladies room

detroit river walks
to stroll the scenic view
the breeze takes wind grabbing your hair
river walks down belle aire

the car packed for vacation
feeling so unreal

jumping the high waves
making the mind play hookie
the sanity heals

palm tree paradise
the roasted apple juiced pig
marks start of  luau

sudden breathing spell 
   seemed to be fascinating 
      filled one’s own delight

LOVING THE OCEAN VIEW!

swim five warm-up laps
then head straight to the hot tub
NOW I HIT THE BEACH!

up over the bridge
and down off of the mainland
right on the island....

so hot yet, soft to the touch;
lovely beach bedding.

Scorching summer now
Heat strokes on roads everyday 
You are red in bough

at the highest heights
from the time i arrive here
that first crashing wave

vacations will end
the last day is the worst part
inspired nonetheless

sand dunes all tease me
until i all but give in
i have no regrets....
