Valentinius--
Not much is known about him,
But all girls love him.

Saint Valentine's Feast,
On February fourteenth:
Mostly chocolates!

It would make more sense
To honor Aphrodite...
So then, why don't we?!

Today is Friday
Tomorrow is Saturday
Next it is Sunday

your liquid smile flows
from those soft cherry pink lips
tender as peaches 

your sweetness is like
a delicious projection
of all that you are

when I follow your
twinned dancing orbs, am I lost,
or have I been found?

Lake ice cracks with cold
breath hangs in frozen silence
stars sparkle above.

Great horned owls hoot
bitter February night
owlets to follow.

On this frigid night,
may we share as one this fire
that burns within us?

The nectar of life

  Sweet kiss ~ two hearts beat as one

  On a wave of love

Please whisk me away
To a place of freedom found
Only in your love

i carved out a heart
from an old red envelope 
be my Valentine


* Because of surgery I couldn't leave the house to buy a Valentine's Card for my husband so I had an old red envelope and cut out a red heart then Wrote, "Happy Valentines Day, Be Mine Darling"

You are so awful,
But do not get so upset,
You're just full of awe.

butterfly, flower, garden, insect, nature, valentines day,

Tiny rose buds speak
Of massive blooms appearing 
Branches help to balance!

Rose Nectar will bring
Butterflies from high
Pollinate the blooms!

My fragrant rose blooms
Draws bees , butterflies and ants
Towards its pollen.

On Valentine's Day,
Cupid's arrow drips with blood.
What a macabre love

A candy shaped heart
Sweet sounding words "I Love You"
You are mine to taste

A rose there in thorns
Light in Pink Highlights dark reds
Enhanced in True Love

Stuttering my speech
Is it Heaven wrapped Stellar
This kiss you gave me?

seen through arrivals
such a smile welcomes me so
my hearts a pumping

refrain communication
smiling Valentine

Dazzling sun proposed
    
Pale moon consented bride to be
     
Flickering stars blushed!

thorn bushes need love
opening up in the sun -
fragile hearts blossom

Letter by letter
Word for word, you and I love
Create new worlds

embraced in wonder
sparse snow hugs the bare branches...
nature defends life.

Oh the sun and moon
does create the silhouettes...
light in the shadows.

Come on hold me
with your magic touch
create heaven on earth?

A glance from afar
Certain longing in his eyes
A word on his lips

An unspoken sound
A deep feeling when we kiss
Wrapped in each other

His lips whispering
Of a certain desire
Do you wish it too?

death- the door of love
salute you Saint Valentine
mind is searching mate

Lost in magnetic kisses
Trapped within your soul
Are you my maze?

from dawn to the dusk
eastern beam dies west town
miss velentine eve

When February middle-day start,
Flowers come from an eyebrow,
Hearts stem up like horses.

Impatient as stars 
we await our big moment
locked in an embrace.
 
Night must fall quickly
with moonbeams as their light
ushers in silence.

How true will you be?

missed my heart or mind
signalless day have vanished
happy valentine

Gave out all my cards,
valentines for all the girls,
but didn’t get one.

eyes full of  tears
it seemed to take forever
my first Valentine

“puppy love” spelled out
my worst Valentine mem’ry
the gift of a dog

“I Love You” pillow
forgotten Valentine
blesses me again

his florid wheels spin
bouquet cloaked in angel’s wings

beautiful petals
seduce my naive fingers
hidden thorn draws blood

I buried my heart
deep in the hard frozen ground
and still you found it

Unbuttoned night dress
Playful kisses in the dark
One can only dream

Excited reaching out to you
Let us be as one
Together in the stars we dine

Perfectly blessed
With you I can finally rest
My special one, my glory

Be the closest one to me
Can I hold you closer?
